Where is the convention held?+
The Kroc Center Hawaii in Kapolei, O'ahu. Sessions are held in the Theatre, with meals in the Conference Centers. See the Venue page for details.
Why the change in Convention Site?+
Throughout the years, we have always held our Convention at the same location. There have been a number of issues with the former convention site. Leading the list was the cost; Lions have for years, voiced their frustration with the cost of attendance and we head the plea. We are excited to announce that this year's cost is lower than the past.
Why travel so far for a Convention Site?+
Kroc Center Hawaii the laragest community center in the State of Hawaii. This facility is a full campus with dedicated space for sessions, meals, and recreation. Free parking is provided to all guests. With a world-class Theatre, there is simply no better venue.
Is alcohol allowed at the convention?+
No. Alcohol is strictly prohibited at the Kroc Center Hawaii. See the Rules page for the full list of convention rules.
What hotel options are available?+
Three options are listed on the Hotels page: Hampton Inn & Suites Kapolei, Kroc Center Dorms, and an Airport Honolulu Hotel, at a range of price points.
Do I need to bring my own bedding if I stay in the Kroc Center Dorms?+
Yes. Dorm guests need to bring their own toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, sheets, pillows, and blankets.
